少し前のブログでも取り上げましたが
GRヤリス用EVENTURI製インテークのリベットの裏球が落ちると言う件。
当店の検証では、かなりのレアケースではない限り、球は落ちない
と言う結果でしたが、絶対に落ちないと言う訳でなく・・・。
イギリスの販売代理店を通じてEVENTURIの正式な返答を待っていた所
Dear Dealer,
The quality of our intake components is of the highest priority and on occasions,
we are made aware of some components falling below our expectations.
After carrying out some long-term tests it appears that a small number of the plastic rear tubes do not meet our strict quality standards.
As we cannot determine if this is restricted to a certain batch,
we have decided to roll out a replacement initiative. We will be shipping out new tubes with revised materials to all dealers over the coming weeks.
Please make your customers aware of this replacement initiative.
The tube in question is shown below. The intake part numbers are EVE-GR4-CF-INT and EVE-GR4-CFM-INT.
As a precautionary measure,
we advise all customers with this intake to change the tube as soon as possible.
We do not require the old tubes to be returned.
New tubes have already been used in all intakes being assembled from the 15th March 2023.
We already have total Yaris sales numbers for each dealer so we will be shipping in batches each week to make up those numbers.
We will appreciate your feedback in terms of customer response.
If you have any Yaris intakes in stock which were received before the 15th March 2023,
please replace the tubes with the ones we will be shipping.
We apologise for any inconvenience this matter may cause.
We strive to maintain the highest quality standards and this action is being taken to uphold such levels.
こう言う返答が来たと言う連絡が来ました。
簡単に言うと
迷惑を掛けてしまってごめんなさい。
製品に問題が見つかりました。
2023年3月15日以降に出荷した物は大丈夫ですが、それ以前に出荷した物は
対策品を準備したので、それと交換して下さい。
もともとのパイプは返す必要はありません。
って事で、まずは
5台分の対策パイプが
送られてきて、対策前はリベットが黒色でしたが
それがシルバーに替わっていました。
裏側の処理も適正化されてます。
流石EVENTURIですね。
世界各国に販売したことを考えれば軽く1000や2000の出庫数が有ると思いますが
それらすべてに対策品を準備して送ると言うんです。
とあるメーカーがGRヤリスで排気系パーツのチョンボをやらかしてますが
今の所、対策品どころか事実さえも公には認めていません。
結局最後まで知らぬ存ぜぬを決め通すんでしょうかね・・・。
GRヤリス用EVENTURI製インテークを弊社で購入、取り付けされた方には
対策品が届き次第随時対応を進めたいと思います。
全部で50セットぐらい売りましたが、対策品が届いたのはまだ5個だけですので
新たに入荷され次第の対応となります事ご理解ください。
っで対策されたEVENTURI製インテークキットも
イギリスより直接5セット程入荷しましたので
これでまたGRヤリスのフルスペックSTEP1-Rが構築可能となりました！
と言いつつも、既にレボリューション製キャタライザーは残り1本となってしまいましたので
STEP1-Rフルスペックご希望の方、お急ぎください。
そして同じくイギリスから届いた
SYVECS製 GRヤリス用プラグインフルコンピューター。
4WDコントローラーは有名ですが
ECUとしてこのメーカーの物を使っている所はまだまだ少ないです。
MOTECじゃダメなの？って思うかも知れませんが
すでにみんなMOTEC使ってるじゃないですか・・・。
今だと2番煎じ3番煎じになっちゃうのが嫌なんですよね。
それにZN6 86にMOTECのM150を装着した時、色んな意味でかなり嫌な思いをしたので
GRヤリスにフルコンを装着するならMOTEC以外！と決めてました。
っと言う事で今回SYVECS製を選択しました。
